Christie's home. She is a a darn sight better than when I took her to the ER on Friday. After several days in the ICU, two transfusions and stomach surgery, before twenty fours in a regular ward she is back in her own bed. Perhaps the chaos of the last week is over. She no longer has the view from the ninth floor of the Salt Lake Valley towards the Wasatch Mountains, but is happy in her own surrounds. Her main challenge was being thrust into 18f for the trip home (the hospital being more on the warm side)
Now my plans and schedules for daily activities will have more normalcy. Everything over the last few days has taken longer than planned and I always seemed to be in the opposite direction from where I needed to be at any time. I may even enjoy regular meals again.
Daisy and Katie, our cats, are very happy to see Christie again, and are enjoying joint, rather than competitive, petting. All is well again in our household.
