February 12th * 2011 Budweiser Shootout has NEW Eligibility for Drivers

...YES, Virginia, it's 30 days to the Budweiser Shootout in Daytona * the BEGINNING of the 2011 NASCAR season although the GREAT AMERICAN RACE will be held on the 20th * the Daytona 500

The Shootout, like the All Star Race in Charlotte mid-season, is a NON-points race that is LOADS of fun to watch.

This year NASCAR has opened up the field so that 30 drivers are eligible to run in the race and those drivers who still have their NASCAR PERMIT to drive AND who can find rides * like Kenny Schrader and Sterling Marlin * will be SUPER FUN to WATCH * Night races area always entertaining and this one will certainly be exciting!

There will be a "draw" party on the 11th at 8P on Speed channel to determine the starting grid for the first segment of the 75 lap race!!!
