Another quote from "the Donald"! ...food for the Real Estate mind!

Last week; as an every Wednesday, I blogged on my quote of the week. Your reactions was such great read, I decided to keep going with "The Donald". He is truly an entertaining figure to follow in real estate.

I don't know if I agree with his sense of fashion (lol), but I find his point of view on real estate to be quite instructive, interesting and well, funny! Nothing wrong with learning while having some fun doing so!

This quote is worth writing on my vision board. It put things in perspective. It is common sense that we could all remind ourselves. It is a lesson we should pass on to the next generation. It is more like something "Sartre" would have said. Now, take a pen and paper. Write this down. Tape it to your bathroom mirror, so you see it first when you wake-up! This one is a keeper! Then, go outside and play in the snow! ... that is, if you are here in the metro-west of Boston! 15 inches and counting! C'mon, be a kid again! I know, I will!

" I try to learn from the past, but I plan for the future by focusing exclusively on the present. That's were the fun is." Donald Trump

Hmmm... sounds like what he is really saying is that he takes it one day at a time, and tries not to repeat past mistakes. Sounds good to me!

Daniel, indeed!

Abdon, in other words yes. Simple enought but yet, so true.

Laura, I cannot get enough of the Donald! He is definitely interesting!

Gotta love the Donald.   I'm reading his daughter's book at the moment and it has lots of interesting tips from a lifetime of observing him in business and real life!  A good read.

Lydie,

There's no question that Trump is an iconic figure in America. He has had his share of huge successes, and just as large failures.

Sounds like good advice to me Lydie, I find The Donald very entertaining on his Apprentice show and Daniel is right, it's hard to argue with his success.

Hi Lydie~ It's a very though provoking quote.  Think I'll need to go back to see what you wrote last week!

Richard, I agree with you. I also believe that "failure" is all about how you look at it. Mr. Trump might have not been this successful if he would have been afraid of failure. He obviously learns a great deal from it.

Keith, "The Apprentice" always makes me smile. It is great TV.

Donna, hope you enjoy last week's quote. He does "provoking" very well! Doesn't he? lol

He's fodder for comedians but he didn't get as far as he has without a very keen business sense!  He knows his stuff. Good quote Lydie! Are you dug out yet?

Erin, I let the kids and the hubby work on it for a few hours. I fixed lunch for everyone. The house smells gooooooood! Chili for supper, if you make your way over! ; )

The "present" doesn't get the attention it deserves.  Most of us do focus on the past or future.  Great advice, thanks!
