11 Comments on Check Your Providers Annually
Good point Carol. I just changed cell phone providers, one month before my contract expired. I was told that after 12 months on a 2 year contract, if I cancelled is was $5 a month for the unexpired months. I got a bill for $60, called and had it reduced to $5 + tax! So you DO have to ask!
Good morning Carol; Thanks for the reminder. May I add, TAXES. The IRS doesn't forget about us, let's not forget about them. Cold winter days, a slow down in business, it's a good time to check on these things.
O, and don't forget a business plan for 2011. Best wishes for a great year.
BTW; great photo, don't change it, if you do make sure it radiates the same joy you project in this one.
Good morning Carol. Good point! I have been with Verizon for several years now and says that come up with the iPhone I think I may stop in to check out my plan and also drool over the iPhone...
Thank you for the reminder. I need to call AT&T about my cell phone.
thanks to help me .

Good morning Carol, T-Mobile is in the business of making money...If you are not careful about the small print like a charge of 40 cents per minuet for each additional minuet... It adds up fast.
That is excellent advice, I went in to the cell store to buy a smart phone for my husband as he really need one for business. In overview of my plan I was able to knock off $60 per month with some adjustments .. that was huge!
Carol, You are so right, as usual. There are a couple of ways to have more money. First is make more, second is spend less so when you are working on your own bottom line remeber both sides of this equation. Thanks for reminding us. Any way to pay less to the phone company is a joy to me.
That is such a great idea. I will check on mine now.
Carol, good advice for the first of the year. I'll have to check into my providers, every little bit counts.
Also contact any bank card accounts on which you pay interest. They aren't in an extremely compliant mood this year, but it still doesn't hurt to ask for a rate adjustment.
