Cedar City Localism Post...Great Harvest Bread....

Real Estate Agent with Aubrey and Associates Realty

Do any of you have that one aroma or order that immediately takes you back to your childhood?  Or takes you back to another time in your life?  For me that aroma is the smell of baking bread, one whiff of bread being baked, and I am 8 years old at my grandmother's house.  Life is good, and there are no worries!  I don't stay in those thoughts long, but it is nice to remember those adolescent, carefree days!

Great Harvest Bread is one of those locations where I can escaped albeit momentarily, to those days of yore!  Great Harvest Bread is a Utah based chain of stores, where bread is made fresh every day.  They do more than that, they make rolls, cookies and during the work week, sandwhiches at lunch time!

How good is that, sandwiches made on freshly baked bread?  Really, it doesn't get any better than that!

Great Harvest is located at 126 North Main Street in Cedar City.  Their phone number is (435) 865-6848

Tony--I am right there with you.  My mother & both grandmothers baked bread.  Now my daughter uses her bread machine & once in a blue moon I get a taste.  So good, so many calories, but smells don't count.  Your area has some of the best places.  Keep posting them.

Hi Tony and Darcy - I can't believe you are lucky enough to still have a Great Harvest Bread Co. in your area!  The closest to me is at least 30-40 miles away!

Ralph, Thank you!

Leolinda, I know, they don't even have to advertise, just allow the smell to sell the bread!

Mary, Thank you!  I will

Chris, We are lucky!

Tony and Darcy - I love bread, so know your Great Harvest Bread Company would be a welcome addition to the Sacramento area.  However, we do have a Panera Bread Company, and I suspect there may be similarities.
