Montebello Pines is a luxury home community located in Montebello, New York, which is part of the Town of Ramapo, in Rockland County, New York.
The homes are luxurious colonial estates and were built between 1997 and 2005. The homes have 4 bedrooms, 5 bedrooms and 6 bedrooms, and between 2.5 and 5.5 bathrooms. Their square footage ranges from 3123 square feet to several that are as large as 6325 square feet, though most of the homes are in the 4500 square foot range. The homes are set on picturesque lots that are around 1 acre. Each home has a 2 or 3 car attached garage and most of the homes have at least 1 fireplace.
The homes are well-appointed. The kitchens are high-end, with granite countertops and beautiful wood cabinetry. Many of them have two story entry ways, cathedral ceilings galore, and large windows. The homes are light and bright, open and airy.
The homeowners take great pride in their homes and keep their property in pristine condition, with lush green grass and beautiful landscaped grounds. The homes are surrounded by a variety of specimen trees, gorgeous perennials and annuals. I love to walk through this neighborhood, spring, summer and fall! There are many cul-de-sacs and all the streets are quiet and easy to walk along in this neighborhood. Traffic is at a minimum, and the area is peaceful and serene.
Many of the homes have inground swimming pools and you can hear the laughter of children as they play in the pools and on their swing sets.
The Montebello Pines luxury homes have large decks or patios, as you can see from the picture above. Barbecues and summer entertainment is at its best in this country club atmosphere.
At the time of the writing of this article, there are two homes on the market in Montebello Pines. One home is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with 3133 square feet is being offered at $849,000 and another estate is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath home with 4456 square feet and it is listed at $975,000.
In 2010, 7 homes sold in the Montebello Pines. One 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home sold on 1/11/2010, for $790,000. Another 5 bedroom 4 bath colonial sold on 1/18/2010 for $817,000. Another 5 bedroom, 5 bath home sold on 2/23/2010 for $860,000. A fourth colonial with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths sold on 6/23/2010 for $740,000. A fifth home with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths sold on 6/25/2010 for $860,000. A sixth home with 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths sold on 8/20/2010 for $995,000. The seventh home, with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths sold on 9/23/2010 for $710,000.
