As the Atlanta home inspector, I was looking around this morning for interesting resources and articles and I ran across the following article/location where you can download and listen to different information. I ran across the following webinar Prospecting for Today’s Market:What Really Works. Now granted the webinar is a little dated, it is still very valuable information. The webinar had some great tips about different marketing tips. 
The webinar featured one of our own Activerain Ambassador’s Anna "Banana" Kruchten. She talked about the benefits of blogging from not only getting amazing SEO juice and leads, but everything you blog can go directly to Linkedin, Twitter, and Facebook automatically.
She has only been blogging for about two years and already it has done amazing things for her business. (I would subscribe to her blog, if I were you.) One of the main things that she didn’t understand when she first started blogging was that she needed to have a call of action. You need to guide your readers in the direction you want them to go. Readers get lost! Make sure you make it really really easy to get in touch for you.
She also mentioned 6 deadly sins of Blogging:
1. Mixed messages (I don’t know about you but this one I have to be very careful about doing)
2. Difficulty to subscribe
3. Inconsistent posting
4. No interaction with readers
5. Wrong Platform
6. Wrong SEO keywords
(Ok, my hand is raised on at least 4 out of the 6)
