ScrubsOaks...a Contemporary American Pub


On the north side of Fayetteville, NC, on Ramsey St., in the Villages of Kinwood,  there is a great place to eat called ScrubOaks.  I went there for the first time last night.  I had heard from several people that they had really good food but since this place is across town, I have not had the opportunity to go yet.  Let me say, I will be back!  I was greeted as soon as I walked in and immediately felt like I had been coming there forever.

There are tables or you can sit at the bar.  Its very contemporary yet still very cozy.  Its a great place to go and watch your favorite football team on one of the several TVs or take a group of friends and have dinner, great place for date night too!  You can order some yummy appetizers like deep fried pickles, drunken mushrooms, or Chesapeake Bay crab dip and chips.  If you want a little more, they have a variety of sandwiches  (the real Philly Cheese-steak sounds pretty good)or order a full entree like the Pepperberry Tuna or maybe the Lobster Penne, or for the meat lover,,a nice rib eye. The prices are good too!

Last night while I was there, the bartender made me a  Lemon Martini...yum!  I had never had one but I know what to order the next time I go back.  They have a new “jukebox” that is all digital and hangs on the wall with a variety of music for all tastes.  
If you want a great ‘upscale” casual place to eat or have drinks, ScrubsOaks will fit the bill!

Yummy!  Good thing I just finished dinner, but I bet the desserts are good too!  Nice post, they should send you a free meal or two.........lol
