Specify your wants, Avoid distractions.

Internet search engines provide home buyers with lists of many results, so many that all the results will never be viewed.

The trouble is that the result list is often not relevant to the search criteria, yet crucial for advertising business.

Specify your wants  ( " ")

Include quotation marks around the text that you want in your search results.

For example.  I am searching for "Wayland MA home buyer resources"

The search results will include sites with the phrase "Wayland MA home buyer resources"

Avoid distractions  ( - )

The result list may still be too long for me to review all the web sites.

I am not interested in sites that write about "other" people/companies/services.

Modify the Search Phrase to:  "Wayland MA home buyer resources" -other

Your search results lists will be smaller, yet more relevant.  This may help you focus on your wants and avoid distractions.  These work with all the search engines (Bing, Google, Yahoo, etc).
