Who doesn't like good food and baseball? My daughter Erin has been playing rec softball since she was 5 years old so needless to say we have spent a lot of time at "The Fields" in Broadview Heights Ohio watching her and her wonderful teammates play.
Last year around this time we also welcomed Beef O'Brady's to Broadview Heights. Now the Broadview Heights Community Foundation and Beef's have teamed up for a project to raise funds for the purchase of all new, high quality sunscreen covers for each of the dugouts at The Fields. These PVC coated sunscreens provide a 70% shade factor, helping to protect players from direct sunlight!.
Beef O'Brady's has committed to donating 10% of each Saturday's lunch and dinner sales, between now and March 12, towards the sunscreens. Beef's is located in the Broadview Commons shopping plaza at 9174 Broadview Rd. Beef's phone number is 440-546-2400.
