"Dairy Farm Estates"? That name would kill any sale in my area. We have big stinky specially zoned dairys here - even more in the Twin Falls/Jerome area of Idaho.

I know the name is meant to conjure up pretty Holsteins grazing peacefully in a green pasture with a pcituresque big red barn nearby.

To me it means big open sheds, a mile of concrete feeding bunks, piles of manure, huge stacks of baled hay, lots and lots and lots of straw for bedding for the Holsteins, silage pits tarped and held down by sliced tires AND very neat clean and nicely landscaped particularly when owned by Dutch-Americans.

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for your budget. The name of the subvision is in reference to the fact that the land used to be a dairy farm which sold out because the value of being very close to the highway. There isn't many farms left around here.
