No... I've been here at ActiveRain... as long as I have an internet connection... I'll be here.

However the Streib household has been under the weather... you know Kleenex, cough drops, cough medicine (I like to call it my Magic Elixir)  and lots and lots of chicken soup.

No, it's not you I was talking about.   I've been away from Green Cay Wetlands for 1 week and today I had to see if my friends were still there. 

We walk there just about every morning and we've come to expect to see our usual friends there.  No, I don't mean Tom and Joel, or Lenny and Ruthie.  Oh, yes I do enjoy seeing them.  We all wave and say "hello" to each other.  And if one of us is gone for more than a few days, someone will email just to check and make sure everything is ok.    Lenny and Ruth are close to 80 and 2 years ago they scared all of us when they went on a 2 week cruise and didn't tell anyone.  Boy, they caught it when they returned.  Kind of like the tongue lashing you used to get when you were 16 and didn't tell your mom you were going to be late. (but then again that's another post). 

It's kind of like ActiveRain on the Boardwalk.

But as we approached the boardwalk   Green Cay,  there it was, Green Cay and a beautiful morning.

Stunningly beautiful photos!  Thanks for posting.  Are you all better yet?  I didn't know you before.  But, I'm glad I saw your blog today.  Keep showing!  I wish I could see the entire photo of your wallpaper.  It must be beautiful too.

Shar- Feeling better , especially after I was able to see all of the birds.

Sharon- Not allowed!  But they were kind enough to get close enough to the boardwalk so I could get some good shots.
