Camouflage, it works! How many antelope do you see?

Wildlife.  I know we don't have an exclusive claim to wildlife in the city, but I still enjoy the animals that do wander in.  These antelope have found themselves in the middle of town because that's where the uncovered grass is.  Most years they just hover around the edge of town or on the golf course, but this year the snow just isn't melting - so here they are.  Resourceful, wouldn't you say?!

Do you see them all at first glance?  We didn't!

Lizette, Funny thing is, I hadn't seen them at all until my son said - "Hey, there was a whole herd of antelope back there."

Brenda - Always interesting to see wild life where you do not expect it.  I was walking in Fairbanks, Alsaka one evening and happened to look down an alley.  Imagine my surprise to see a moose leaning up against a building.   Never mind that this part of town was mostly bars, wonder if the moose had too much to drink...grin  Thanks for the great pictures and blog.

Hi Jackie,  No, not by the house,  just a few blocks away though.  They weren't even spooked by all the traffic.  I suppose they were too hungry to care.

Hi Steve,  Moose still get my vote for the way coolest animal to see - even when they've had one to many . . .  ; )

Brenda,  A perfect post and it shows an interesting feature about one of the animals that we see all the time in Wyoming. For someone who was worried about blogging, you are doing fantastic.

Thanks, Gary.  It's only because everyone has been so nice that I've been able to keep forging ahead.  Though I have to say I'm glad I didn't take a 365 day challenge!
