Steven,
Your classes have been great so far! Thanks for everything.
I would love to see classes on:
1. Effective ways to maximize Community Sponsorships
2. Effective ways to use a Fan Page or Community Page on Facebook
3. Twitter techniques / etiquette
4. Your best examples of Market Reports & ideas for making our own
And I also would love to have access to recorded past classes/webinars that you have done!
Thanks again!
Thanks for the great suggestions John!
I am unable to access the activerain university from the link provided. I have to go to the search bar, type in activerain university and still am searching for the calendar. So, I guess what I really want is better access.
Janet the university link above seems to be working just fine. It brings me straight to the training calender when I click on it.
John said just what I was thinking about access to past classes that are recorded. We so often plan to attend a class, business happens and we can't make it...or we suddently have some time and wish there was a class we could take...
It would be GREAT to be able to click on a subject and watch it...thanks Steven.
Thanks for making you voice heard Rene! This is one of the most requested additions to the university, so you and John are not alone.
Training on the outside blog. SPecifacally how to catagorize posts to mek the blog more user friendly.
Make our own catagories.
Linda I can show you how to do that in the class for sure.
I would like to see the Webinars recorded and posted for viewing at the listener's convenience such as REBAC does. Since you are on Pacific time and are dealing with multiple time zones, this may prove helpful. In addition, if we forget something, the webinar is accessible.
This is something that has been suggested several times Margaret. We will be taking it into consideration, but with the way the search engines change their algorithms, we have to keep all of the information we put out there up to date at all times. This has made archiving classes, while keeping the content fresh and relevant a very daunting task.
Recording past classes would be so appreciated. I'd also like to learn a better wayt to invite people to join Active Rain. I submitted a lot of emails and can't see who I invited. A lot of lenders tell me their company doesn't allow them to join Active Rain. Odd...anyway, I have noticed some AR members have a lot of invites and I just wondered how they do it...hmm...maybe I need to blog the memnbers and find out:)
Keep that suggestion box open! What a great idea!
Elisa, we have discussed recording classes in the past and decided against it; however it may be worth revisiting this discussion soon. Invites can be tricky. The key is to include the URL that gives you credit for the invite. If you call us at: 1-888-643-3837 we should be able to show you how to send better invites.
Thanks for your support Barbara! We just want our members to know we are listening and taking their advice seriously.
I'm not sure if this has already been suggested, I would love to see customizing our outside blog, side bar, adding a twitter feed that actually looks nice, etc...
We cover outside blogs every Wednesday Katie.
I know this is way after the fact .. and after the date this was written, but I'd like to add a suggestion. That being that there are many lenders now on AR. A few classes or opportunities more focused on our concerns would be helpful. We need marketing tips and assistance too. Any possibility of this in the future? I think some classes regarding mortgages themselves could prove very helpful to the agents as well. With so many recent changes, the extra insight and knowledge would prove beneficial and possibility improve communications between agent and lender.
Just a suggestion and request ...
Gene
BRAVO Gene!!! I have been whining about this for as long as I've been here and continued to do so on the recent survey that was sent out. I couldn't agree with you more that there are way too many Realtors/agents here who are absolutely clueless as to how the loan process transpires as well as the umpteen things they do that can derail a loan approval in a heartbeat. It's actually kind of scary how really ignorant some Realtors/agents are about today lending environment.
The link no longer works for the University!
Than, we are on it. Appreciate your patience!
Gene, Donne, we are also on it! Thanks for your input!
