Rene, my trip to the cold country (hungary) and what I have been watching on the news on the East Coast, has etched it in my mind Why I live in Marina Del Rey CA. ( we are having 72 degrees and sunshine) no need to have such Gear as your photo:)))
The Pineapple Express is back. We're not complaining... (Well most of us aren't.) I'd rather have the wet gray @ 50 degrees than the freezing snow and ice...
Rene, Rain gear is a must have I'm sure out there in the northwest. I've heard it is very green the year round. That is very appealing.
Good I'm glad I'm not the only one that calls it liquid sunshine. I've always loved the Pacific Northwest and this rain brings the greenest springs and summers you will ever see.

Charles: Being a native of the NW I rarely complain about the weather... You are so right, it does stay green all year round. On a beautiful spring or summer afternoon when the sun is out, the sky is blue, the flowers are blooming... Wow, it was worth the wait...
