This is my first time at Blogging. I'm just going to tell you a little bit about myself, my family and why I love selling real estate and living in West Virginia.
I was born and raised in Clarke County Virginia, worked at a book manufacturing facility for 15 years as the quality manager. Never realized it until my position was eliminated and didn't have a clue what to do with myself that I relized that I had been selling the quality of the books to our clients for 15 years. Thus I then went into Real Estate. I have 2 children a son and a daughter and a beutiful granddaughter who is the joy of my life.
I live in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and I'm sooooo excited because it is almost fall and the leaves are already starting to change colors, this is my favorite time of the year. There are so many of the counties that are preparing to have their fall festivals, such as Berkeley Springs WV is scheduled to have their Apple Butter Festival and Martinsburg WV is scheduled to have their Apple Harvest Festival. Yummy - Fresh made Apple Butter, Apple Pies, and my favorite Apple Dumplings.
I said that I was going to tell you why I love selling real estate - In the Eastern Panhandle you have such a diversity of homes to see, you can show a luxury home, or you can be showing a cabin in the woods. It is such a great joy to see the look on the faces of the first time home buyer, when they have their final walk through and it starts to sink in that we have finally made it, a house of our own. Then it finally hits me, I helped to make this happen. What a wonderful feeling.
I recently heard an agent talking about how bad the market is, The market is different than what we have seen from several years ago, but the market is not bad, I'm blessed everyday with the friends I have made and will continue to make and keep learning everyday.
I'll be back in the future for more blogging.
