Brenda, what an interesting looking place. How did the field trip go?
Brenda, That is fascinating. I had never heard anything about it before. I'll have to visit it someday.
Connie - The field trip was awesome. The sun was shining and the skies were blue, blue, blue. We had a great tour guide who really explained it all in a lovely way. It was way different than what I expected.
Gary - I know, it is so odd that it could be so close and yet not known at all. I guess their purpose isn't to be known, but still....
Not what you would expect to see in your state:)
Frances, I know! It looks so out of place with its bright, garish colors. Definately different.
Brenda - Well this shows that if you are willing to step out into the world you just never know what you will find. I have always believed that if I was open minded all kinds of interesting things and places would reveal themselves to me. Thanks for the blog. Good job.
Good morning Brenda, that looks very interesting...It must be a great experience...
No way - this is in Colorado? I was willing to drive up into WY to see it, but now it's definitely on my list too!
My wife and I spent a couple of months trekking in Nepal a few years back. Saw lots of stupas...just like this one, out in the middle of nowhere...
