7 Comments on Too much information. GPS in your camera and the ramifications
Virginia, My camera has the gps feature and I do not use it.
Virginia....I've blogged about this in the past. I'm with you. No one who doesn't know me needs to know!
Thanks for the reminder, Virginia. I've turned off the GPS on my phone... now if I can only figure out how to do it on my camera, I'll be golden.
I would think that you could turn off the gps feature on your phone before taking any pictures.
I shocked myself yesterday. I googled white pages and searched my plumbers name to find his home phone number, he wouldn't answer his mobile. No phone number, but it did give me his home address, his wife, and their age? I'm afraid were all too findable.
Jeana, You are so smart to turn it off
Larry, sorry I must have missed that blog BUT it does need to be out there again for those members like me who didn't catch it.
Marcia, When you figure out if it's on the camera let me know
Katherine, I'll drink to that.
Sherry, it's really scary when you see how much is out there. It's like big brother is watching us and putting on the internet
Frightening. I will have to check my phone. I don't think it has it, or it might be shut off because I checked some pics I took with it and I couldn't find anything like the example in the video. So there was no mention in the video of what to do to prevent your pics from giving the info.
