So, I finally got to meet the lovely and talented Debra Walsh from Orange County NY. She is one of my first subscribers and to be honest, if it weren't for her encouraging comments early on, I probably would not still be here.
I've spoken w/ Debra (who usually goes by Debbie) several times on the phone - we've both traded marketing ideas and I think learned a lot from each other. Debbie lives about 1.5 hrs away, so we met in Rockland County for the day. I felt that we both already knew each other from our frequent blogging/commenting and phone calls. We both had rough weeks and we were both tired...but no matter since we are both such close friends, we know this happens sometimes and it's okay to vent (and believe me, I needed to).
Clearly Debbie is a phenomenal realtor. She really knows what she's doing and she's super efficient. I don't know how she handles all the listings and buyers she has except to say that she is incredible and a wonderful priority setter.
But yesterday was different. She was there to help me w/ all this techy stuff that I have no clue about. First, she finally got me those buttons for my FB/LI/Tw accts on my sidebar - something I would never be able to do. Don't they look great?
Second, she made me the header that you now see at the top of the screen. Isn't she amazing. Now, this was no small feat. Aside from all the graphics and html stuff, we had sooooooo many technical challenges. To make a long story short - tons of connections issues/slow connections and not much access to plugs, and having to drive to multiple locations. I can't believe how patient she was and how much time she put into this. I owe her BIG time. I think I need to give her my first born...or at least name her after her. LOL. (We did BTW, kept getting all our profiles confused w/ so many Debbie's in our files.
Anyway, I can't thank her enough because I never would have been able to do this on my own. Thank you Debbie.
