The Cotton Mill condos in the New Orleans Warehouse District is a great starting place for a loft or a small condo. The exposed brick walls, very large windows,20 foot ceilings give you that true Warehouse look. There are currently several nicely priced units availiable. This is the time of year to think about buying. In the Spring these units are very popular. Selling these every month, the fall is the best time to buy. You can easily save $5,000 over what you would pay later in the year. Less people are looking right now and that is to your bennefit. The interest rates are down and Lousiana State Bond Money is still availiable for rrates under 6%.
The units are also great places for second homes. Just lock the door and leave. Its all in the timing and this tends to happen every year. Most people are not looking now so the better deals can be yours. You have to be particular in the one that you buy. I have propably sold almost 20 of these and can guide you to the pros and cons of each unit.

The CottonMill unit #150 Cotton Mill Condos in the New Orleans Warehouse District is a first floor courtyard unit that features exposed beams and bricks in an open floor plan. The unit measures 513 sq. ft. but seems much larger with the easy layout and 3 large windows and a large brick wall. The high ceilings gives the unit plenty of light. This unit would make an excellent weekend get-a-way as a second home in the Warehouse District.
Garanteed a spot to rent. The courtyard is 25,000 sq. ft. along with a nice pool. There is also no need for a health club membership as there is an on site gym on the first floor. The on site management is a plus for a condo complex. There are several elevators in various spots in the building and two spots for mail boxes.
Condo fees of $186 include insurance, maintaince, upkeep of common areas, flood insurance, basic cable, security, termite contract, management and much more. You are responsible for your own contents and would have to get separate insurance for those items.
