Looking for an event that you will put on your calendar year after year? Then look no further! This Thursday, January 20th the Farmville's Rotary Club will host the 7th Annual Celebrity Cook Off. It is a night of good food prepared by many local chefs, non-profit organizations, churches, and small businesses.
If you have never attended a Celebrity Cook Off here is how it works. Local chefs and amateurs gather and prepare amazing food for the attendees to eat and enjoy. They are competing for the top prize of consumer choice! A winner will be given to the top professional and the top amateur. When you attend the event you will be given tickets that you can use to VOTE for your choice.
For $10 for adults, $5 for children (children under 5 are free) you can roam from table to table and try great dish after great dish. Come hungry and you will leave full. The variety of food is always amazing.
The Farmville Rotary Club donates all proceeds and this year the recipient of the donation will be the PEFYA youth league. The donation will go towards building wonderful soccer fields for the youth of our community to enjoy.
The event starts at 5:30 PM at the Fuqua School's Lower Commons and lasts until 7 PM. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time at Real Living Cornerstone or at the door.
