Congratulations to ActiveRain on 200,000 Members!

As of this morning, ActiveRain is 200,000 members strong! Next month will be my fourth anniversary of having discovered and joined AR, not then being really sure of what a blog was. Blogging was a relatively new phenominon, and ActiveRain's membership at that time was somewhere in the 12,000s.

Since then, AR has become the best and most well respected platform for real estate professionals, as well as having been joined by sister platform Localism for hyper-local consumer information. It has been a joint effort between a dedicated AR staff with deep knowledge of internet SEO, and content provided by an unbelievably wide range of real estate agents and brokers, mortgage loan officers, appraisers, home inspectors, home stagers, and more.

AR has also been the source of many friendships within the real estate community, and an incredible source of education and knowledge, helping make us better professionals while providing the public with a valuable resource. I can trace many friends, and even the company that I work for, directly back to relationships developed through ActiveRain!

I'm proud to be a member of this illustrious group - Congratulations, ActiveRain!

Brian, when I logged on AR this morning I was quite surprised to see the 200,000 accomplishment. I had noticed they were close but figured it may take alittle bit longer. This is great for all of us!

Harry, it IS a great accomplishment, which took the efforts of a great many people!

Ron, I've been watching the numbers for a while as we got closer, too.

Barbara, we still seem to be growing at a steady pace.

Charlie, I know you've been around about as long as me. AR certainly has evelved over the years!

Gary, as a percentage, AR was indeed growing faster in the first years.

Frances, you make a good point - perhaps the length of time it takes these days to sign in & post does have to do with the increased number of members.

Paul, AR has indeed been a great continuing source of learning and making new friends!

Mike, as the numbers indicate, AR continues to experience steady growth, and there is still room for more!
