Too many or not enough?

Hello! We are new to BPOs and have signed up with 5 companies to date. How many is too many? Is it possible to overdo it? We tried Countrywide, however they aren't accepting applications at the moment. :-| How long does it typically take before requests start rolling in?

BTW, this forum is great! We appreciate the help!
