I have had the pleasure of meeting Noel and watching him work.  If the before and after in the blog below doesn't say enough, I am here to tell you that his work is stellar, his attitude "can-do," and he works around cats!  You can't beat that.  So check out Huston Painting next time you have a job that requires a professional.

I am fortunate to know many great professionals in various lines of work.  One such professional is a long time friend by the name of Noel Huston.  I've known Noel since 1989.  He reminded me of this fact when he was painting my dining room.  His name is pronounced KNOLL HOUSTON.

Noel runs a painting business:  Huston Painting.  And I am thrilled to have him on my roster of preferred service providers. Unlike many painting services that may come in with a bucket of paint, a roller and a paintbrush, Noel knows that a good paint job is all in the prep work.  Chaulking, fixing drywall nail pops or even just sanding the wall.  Putting color on an unprepared wall is only going to accentuate the problems in the drywall.  Better to fix those problems up front.

It's amazing to watch Noel work.  He doesn't believe in painter's tape.  His steady hand doesn't need it, unless of course you have requested a striped wall.  He is methodical and patient in applying color to the walls.  Our deep red dining room took three coats of paint.  Noel took the time and did the job right.

He also believes in using quality products.  Noel uses premium Sherwin Williams paints that have low odor (I didn't notice any odor at all) and are stain resistant. The paint comes in a matte or satin finish.  If you haven't chosen a color, he will have you pick from the colors available to Sherwin Williams.  If you have chosen a color from another shop, Noel can have Sherwin Williams match the color.

If you want to add some color to your home, leave it to the professional.  And if you mention that you found Noel through this blog, he'll give you 10% off the job. His time books quickly, so don't hesitate to call and schedule your free estimate today.

its truly a pleasure to see a craftsman who is talented at their craft. whether its painting woodworking tiling, you can always tell an amateur from a seasoned pro. Patience and a steady hand are not easy sometimes. Funny because the painters I have worked with and talked to have been big fans of sherwin williams also!
