I have been a proficient musician on multiple instruments for many years. I played professionally, and didn't make enough money to support myself or my family (that's the path you have to take to start out in that business...sound familiar?).
Last night I joined a group of musicians that vary in skill and age, but they all had one thing in common. They are fun! How wonderful is it to be around great people with a common goal. We can all learn a lesson from them.
In Real Estate, the common goal is to make beautiful music in the form of a pleasurable closing for our clients, the other agents clients, and the other agent. If we strive to make things as service oriented as possible we will provide an atmosphere that has no other choice than to produce great results.
You will see other agents interested in joining your firm, clients talking about how great you are (even if they're represented by the other agent!), and you will even get complements from your title companies.
