7 Comments on Trains Shaping American History - Garfield Street Footbridge
Brenda - Always loved the steam engines when they would come through town. Somehow the horns on the trains today just do not have that "sound" that comes from a real steam whistle. Thanks for the blog. By the way I am old but do not consider myself a relic. Grin
Well done localism. It makes me want to visit Laramie! Keep up the good work for your community.
Hi Steve - Never thought about it, but it's true - current day horns are certainly stop you in your tracks loud. I'm not so sure I've ever heard the whistle kind - except on TV. Thanks for dropping by!
Hi Roy, Thanks for dropping by again. Still taking beautiful photos of flowers I see!
Hi Brenda, You know that I watch what you do. That "FEATURED" star looks great on you right shoulder. Excellent work. I left a response to your comment back on my chain, but, in case you haven't read it, I think you are doing great. Keep it up! Best wishes, Richard
I love trains.. I think it would be fun to stand on the bridge and watch them.... what a cool thing!!
Thanks Richard for all the encouragement. I am truly humbled by the star.
Hi Sheila! It is cool - you wouldn't believe how loud they are and how close they seem.
