Perhaps Seattle is one of the few areas in the country to be offering jobs and attacting new residents. In 2010, I met many new immigrants to Seattle / Eastside, transferring to their new jobs. They seem to come mainly from CA, FL and Europe, and want to rent a home instead of buying.
