Could it be GREED??????
My buyer yesterday just kept saying, "it's sooooo sad, sooooo sad" as we went from one short sale home to another.
"It's such a shame to see so many people losing their homes like this. Wouldn't you think the banks would show some empathy towards them, let them live in their homes until they can rectify or reverse the situation they're in???? Why aren't the banks doing more for them?????", she continued.
Could it be GREED?????? I have questions as to why the government came to the rescue of so many of these big banks, time and time again when there has been no relief for us little people. How come we don't get any relief???? My husband said they could have given every one us a substantial amount of money instead of bailing the banks, the auto industry, and the financial conglomerates. WE would have been more than grateful and appreciative. WE could have used it to save our homes, keep ourselves out of foreclosure, and WE would have been able to get by until we found another job. Why weren't there opportunities for us???? Why wasn't there any employment options made for us through the government???? Oh well, I guess WE don't matter. But aren't we supposed to be "of the people, for the people, and by the people"???? What happened to that????
Could it be GREED???????? Why do banks, financial institutions, and the auto industry get the preferential treatment when we consumers are in need????
Why did the government help the auto industry and those financial institutions instead of us? How could those financial institutions have the gall to turn around afterwards and dish out bonuses and take lucrative vacations on what they got???? Would you call that greed? I think so but I'm sure that there's better terminology for all of this. Any one care to provide their input???
I don't normally write like this but my buyer of yesterday got me thinking about what she was asking me and I came up with this. I don't mean to offend anyone out there. This was just a general post and nothing more. :)
