Looking over the past year real estate in Portland Maine is holding steady. The number of total homes and condos that sold increased from 2009 to a total of 610 this past year. The houses also were selling slightly quicker when compared to last year. This past year saw a median days on market of 58. The median price point for 2010 was 209K, the same price as it was for 2010. While we did not see a rise in the Portland housing market this year in terms of price it is positive that we did not see a decrease. With many great places to live in Portland Maine, including the quant, East End, I believe the real estate market will continue to see an increase in terms of houses and condos sold over the next year.
