A Visit to Active Rain Headquarters

I received word that the Kodak M580 Easy Share Camera and the Kodak Pulse were available to be picked up at the Active Rain Headquarters in Seattle. With my wife Marjie in tow (actually she drove) I've made a short video of the experience.


Winning the contest was not only a thrill, the prizes are wonderful and I thank Kodak for providing them and sponsoring the contest. A bigger thrill was getting to meet some of the Active Rain staff at headquarters. The prize I treasure most is becoming a part of the Active Rain Community and interacting daily with the other members here. Doing so has made me a better blogger, a better Realtor®, and a better individual. I thank you all.

Marjie and I also scored these cool Active Rain shirts. What a fabulous day.

Thank you for all of the comments. On the Zi8: I was at a PTA meeting in the library of a high school the other evening and was about 30 feet from a speaker. I was able to zoom in for a head and shoulders shot and got great quality and audio. The venue was the remodeled auditorium of the high school so that may have made a difference, but the quality was exceptional.

(Kodak doesn't pay men for this endorsement. I just appreciate that they have provided the gifts I won in the contest and that they have an educational as well as promotional presence on Active Rain. .)
