The Coeur d'Alene Press launched the "Job Network" and they claim it's "more sophisticated than Monster.com".  We'll see :D

"Alexander said that when a customer purchases a Press employment ad, that ad is bundled with The Job Network, reaching more than 650 newspapers online. The Press and The Job Network also have partnered with Yahoo! HotJobs, allowing these same ads to appear on that site for a third of the price that a customer would pay if they were to go to the Yahoo site on their own."

"We do something no one else does," Hoppes said. "We take the skill sets, education and preferences of a job seeker, and like eHarmony, we match the interests of the job seeker with what the employer is looking for. I like to call it job dating -- we're able to use those two things and use 2.0 technology to match both parties."

It looks like it will be great for both employers and job seekers.  Check it out and let me know what you think.
