I went out for sushi the other day and as I was finishing up a mixed plate of nigiri and maki the server left my bill and a fortune cookie. A fortune cookie at a sushi place you might ask? Well, it was Hibachi Grill and while they do serve a very large assortment of sushi, the are also a Chinese buffet.
Anyway, this was on of my more promising fortunes. It read
Do you think I still need to go out and lead generate?
HA! I've gotten fortune cookies in Sushi restaurants too. I love nigiri and maki too. My favorite sushi fish is mackeral.
Of course, I'm sure the fortune cookie referred to real estate investing in China. Could be!!
Saunders - I think my dream job (one of many) would be to write the fortunes that come in those cookies. I really hope you do have a wonderful 2011 in Real Estate~!
Mike - I love it when I get one like this that seems oddly specific. My wife actually told me that we were expecting our first child by using a fortune cookie. True story.

This is your fortune! This was YOUR lucky day! You need to begin lead generating at that restaurant and have that fortune cookie paper turned into a badge you wear next to your name tag!

I am going to do better in 2011 because my heart tells me so...and it's been a great start already.
Stocks are doing great, and stop losses can protect from a turn in the market, but what is the stop loss mechanism for real estate?
