Here is a good article about these 2 platforms. If you feel overwhelmed with all of the work that goes onto monitoring and keeping up with social media, these 2 programs are a great way to consolidate them - even right on your phone.
You are right, it's easy to get that overwhelming feeling when playing with social media. I happen to like HootSuite, but there's no way I can keep up with it!

I have experimented with both of these.
It is overwhelming to me to have all those tweets rolling by.
So I went back to the twitter home page. I feel more in control of what tweets I look at...

I understand hootsuite allow people schedule posts to various place. Does it allow you to schedule your posts to Activerain? If no is there a program that does allow activerain scheduling?
