Drift Creek Falls is located near Lincoln City, Oregon. The hike is about a mile and a half. This picture is of the suspension bridge that is located down by the falls. My husband and I spent 3 days at the coast this week and this is one of the pictures from your hike. I will be putting together a video later with pictures on the trail and also of the falls. The bridge was really something to see though. I did not walk on it, but my husband did.
Mel - That looks like a great hike, my kids would make me nervous on that bridge. I look forward to seeing the video.
That is very cool! I did some elk hunting in that area this year but I tended to stay away from the areas frequented by tourists. I think I may need to take the family.
Steve-the bridge made me nervous also. My husband taped a video with him on it. It sways all over the place. Not my cup of tea.
Jim-glad you stay away from the tourists-LOL I bet the kids would love it!
How beautiful that is Mel. I am so super scared of heights, I am even just slightly scared thinking about going on that bridge :) Thank you for sharing.
Hi Christina-I, too, am afraid of heights. It's strange, I can go on the huge rollercoasters because they go so fast, but I can't ride the Ferris Wheel. The ride up with the drop off on my side really got my blood pressure going-LOL I also did not venture out on the bridge. My husband took some of the pictures from the video I will post down the road.
