A: Initially, as you prepare your home for the market, you will incur costs related to making repairs and improving the overall appearance of the home. As the seller, you may also be expected to pay the following:
- A commission to the agent.
- Attorney fees
- Closing cost
- Prorated cost for your share of property taxes.
- Fees customarily paid in your area by the seller, which can include points, survey, and appraisal fees.
- Title insurance
