Hans Mongolian BBQ in Webster is one of our favorite Friday night hang-outs. We try to eat there once a week. If you've never tried Mongolian BBQ, you should try it. The meat and vegetables are stir-fried on a very large round iron griddle. It's healthy and delicious! Low fat, low carb, and no MSG!
Hans Mongolian BBQ is located at 20814 Gulf Freeway in the Clear Lake Center on the corner of I-45 South and Nasa Road I. The owner, PJ Chen, is always there to greet every customer at the door. PJ has a great sense of humor. He knows all of the regulars and even knows if you sign your check left-handed or right-handed. He has a special pen for each!
As you enter the serving line, you can fill your bowl with beef, chicken or pork, then pile on noodles and any number of fresh veggies. At the end of the line, you can spoon on your favorite sauces and oils. I always choose Mongolian sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil. There are lots of others to pick from. Then, the expert chefs place your meal on the giant griddle and stir fry for about a minute until it's steaming hot and just right!
