Services for Real Estate Pros with Time Savers Virtual Assistants

I am doing some research for a friend of mine and I was wondering if I could ask you all some questions. I need Realtor feed back! Please let me know what you think of the following - Out of everyone who responds I will draw one winner to get 1 free hour of Virtual Assistance to use towards anything they choose!!!

Would you consider or have you ever used a photographer to take pictures of your listings?

What would you (or have you) paid for this type of service?

How many pictures do you expect to get back?

Would you prefer going with the photographer to take the pictures?

If the price was right would you consider using this type of service?

Any other feedback you can think to give me would be wonderful. I'm thinking about adding a photographer to my team of Virtual Assistants and although she would only be available locally - I would love to know if it would be something people would want.

Thank you all so much in advance - I really do appreciate all your positive feedback I get on my blogs.

Have a great weekend!

I would consider it for a higher end home (over 750k) I would want to be present at session to make suggestions and to hear theirs. Its easier to point than to use 500 words over the phone. I'm hitting the suggest button, I would like to see where this goes.

I am fortunate that I work for a company that pays for 10 professional photos to be taken of all listings.  Having said that, now I am spoiled and would pay for it myself if I worked somewhere else.  There are few realtors that can take really good pictures that are worthy of the homes they are listing.

It would depend on the price....we have a gal who will take pics ...I think it is 10 pics for about $30.     I just heard about them and haven't used her yet.    The virtual tour companies will take the pics for you for about $100.  Then they put together the virtual tour!

Aryn, Generally for all listed properties, I like to use the most professional shots that I can.  Of course budget does come into play.  That being said, when I do use a professional for my shots I usually pay for $350 for a large quantity of exteriors 20-25 and 3 Custom Lit Interior shots.  Sometimes i then supplement those with shots that I take myself.  I personally believe in the less is more concept of property photography.  Unless there is a feature that really sings, I do not have it photographed, and use the photos to wet the appetite. Most of my listings that are under $500,000, I photograph myself.

Aryn - I have done this a handful of times, and often the client has paid for this themselves.  I think a professional photographer would probably charge $200 and up for a full session.

Aryn,

For me, it depends on the price. If it's a luxury home, I may hire someone, but if it's not, I will do it on my own.

Hope this helps!

Hi Aryn,

I'm a full-time Realtor, but I also do Professional Real Estate Photography for other realtors in my area and having professional photos taken of the property, drasticaly increases your chances of selling it.  Good pictures draw more traffic in.  Typically these photo shoots and the number of pictures produced, ranges based on the type of property.  Here's what I do.

Under 2,000 sq. ft. - $100 (50-75 photos)

Between 2,000 and 3,000 sq. ft. - $150 (75-100 photos)

Over 3,000 sq. ft. - $200 (100-125 photos)

Myself and my clients feel comfortable with these rates.  Every photo is digitally enhanced and processed in HDR to reveal contrast, shadows and saturation.

Hope this helps.
