Yesterday we were at a home of a client for a Home Staging Consultation. We were sent there by a Realtor we work with at GreenWell Realty in Andover, Minnesota. We have quite an extensive working relationship between our two businesses, and one of the main aspects is that they bring us in on every listing (minus a a few foreclosures or short sales of course) to perform our Home Staging Consultation. This is the key phrase...."they bring us in." As part of Greenwell Realty's marketing package, they promote that the Home Staging Consultation performed by Rediscovered Interiors, LLC is provided for the homeowner by GreenWell Realty.
How I wish that more companies would see the value in adding that to their portfolio package to prospective clients! The proof that it works....that client we were with yesterday, well here's what she said to us when she first met us - "....we were choosing between two Realtors. We knew we really needed a lot of help in directing us on what to do and how to prioritize. After Jim(owner of GreenWell Realty) told us that your company was part of his marketing plan, we immediately knew that he was the one we were picking. We need your expertise."
My point is, people want value, they want to see where and how far their money is going that they are investing into selling their home. Sad to say, but because there are few Realtors that include staging in their marketing portfolio, they standout from the rest as someone with more "value." Just as a staged home stands out from all the gluttony of "average" homes on the market, a Realtor that has more to offer in their marketing package will stand out from their "average" competition. So my one question, why wouldn't someone want to invest in that?
