An attempt was made to "tag" me recently, by my former "lurker" Kim McMahon (that's her photo over on the left... isn't she cute?). It was a very nice thought, on her part. It's an indication that she reads my blog, likes what I have to say, and would like to know more about me.
I very much appreciate that.
But (there's always a "but", isn't there?) I have been down that road before. I have MeMe'd, Tagged, Friended... and it was just too much. Sometimes I was tagged twice a day, by different people from different directions.
I wrote post after post, bearing my soul... well, okay... telling information about myself, my life, my family... it was fine. But I've been there, done that, used the public bathrooms there, got the t-shirt and rode the bus on out of town.
I don't do that anymore. I don't tag, I don't friend, I don't MeMe or Chain Letter. I'm a chain letter breaker, I end the chain regardless of the threat attached. We might be able to have world-peace, if it weren't for me.
My sister is a chain letter freak. She can't manage to end a chain letter, she's always worried about the ramifications. So she knows that if she puts "chain letter" in the subject line, that I won't mind... and I won't open it... I just delete it (she's okay with that, because then the bad luck will fall on me, instead of her).
There I went, sharing personal information... - heavy sigh -
So, as flattering as it is, please don't tag, friend, MeMe, BHAG, or any other chain-post, me. I will end it right here on my blog. If you're unsure, just check the "footer" on my blog.
For those who have asked... here are some links to some of my earlier tags, MeMe's, Friends...
