So I get a call from my old boss at Lehman Brothers/ BNC Mortgage. We parted on good terms and he and I have kept in loose touch since I left there a couple of years ago. I had heard through the grapevine that he left a few months before the ship sunk, but didn't know what had happened to him.

He is a now partner in a real estate firm in Corona, CA that is specializing in buyer representation for bank owned and REO properties. Wants to talk about a little advertising maybe on the radio show, and doing some cooperative marketing. They're thinking about setting up a lending side of their business as well, but are open to the idea that my partners and I could possibly perform that function, as, through our broker, we already have all the right approvals; CalHFA, FHA, VA, Six Month No payment programs, and of course, all the mainstream lenders that are left standing and worth having.

I decided to do a little getting ready for the meeting tomorrow. I put a post up yesterday updating my list of Bank Owned/REO properties from partner realtors in various cities in the area. I dominate page one of any google search such of "Bank Owned" or "REO" with local cities such as Temecula, Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Hemet, Sun City, Menifee, and Wildomar, but since I had never had any Bank Owned/ REO/ Foreclosure  properties in Corona to list, I had not made any mention.

I put in a line at the bottom of the post saying, essentially, "Coming Soon: Corona Bank Owned and REO properties".

That was yesterday.

Today I'm on Page 1. With this post, seeded as it is with those very same key words, and metatags, by the time I get to their office, I will most likely have multiple placings on page 1.

I'm thinking I'll show them that...

Just out of curiosity; how many of you caught all the little tricks I did IN THIS POST, to increase my Google rankings; and not just for my blog?

Best Regards,

The STILL HERE Loan Officer!

Tom, I can't find any of them. I'm basically a technophobe, but that doesn't mean I can't learn or that I don't want to learn. I'm impressed by everything that you do. One of these days soon I need to meet with you. I considered going to your dinner in sant Monica, but my wife sais "no."

I'll try to see you in Temecula.

Bill... I wish you could have come up to Santa Monica.Terrific opportunity to do a really good thing. The energy fields in that area- gas, coal, & oil, are booming so quickly that they cannot shelter the workers; and especially the families. We've committed to delivering 140 homes before Christmas, and another 500 next year. Halliburton and other big energy companies are guaranteeing the rents for two years... Nice...

Tom Plant-- I would be honored to have lunch with you. I'll give you a shout next week and we'll get our calendars out and pick a date. Bill-- you too, let's pick a date...

 Best,

Tom
