From the moment you enter this neighborhood you will notice the pride of ownership the residents of Brookwood Estates feel. These two picture are both of the entrance to the sub as you enter Stamwich off of Six Mile Rd. There was a heavy snow the day before and it looks like the streets were cleaned up pretty quick. Even on a cold and snowy day there was activity in the streets just while I was there taking pictures and showing a home for sale. There were residents out walking, shoveling snow and going to their car to go to different places. From this general area of Six Mile and Merriman Rd you have just about every modern convenience you could ask for. I have been told by a few residents they love that the streets of the area do not run through connecting main roads so there is much less road traffic than in many subdivisions. In the following pictures I will show you some great local attractions. First picture is of the Livonia Michigan Recreation Center which is only a short distance away and offers something for just about everyone. The Livonia Rec offers two swimming pools, rock climbing wall, hot tub, exercise equipment, party rooms, two basketball courts and much more. Rotary Park is only a few minute's away as well. Rotary Park offers tennis courts, walking trails, baseball/softball fields, play ground equipment and a party pavilion. For all of you shoppers out there you also will have it good. Laurel Park Place Mall is only a short drive away and offers good shopping, food court, mall walking and movie theaters.
