3 Comments on I need to Submit a Bank Statement for My Pre-Approval to Buy an REO
Issuing valid Pre-Qualification letters is certificate in today's market. To do so, loan officers must see all of the pertinent documentation.
Absolutely all buyers should be pre-approved before submitting an offer. I usually don't put it with the offer but state it's available upon acceptance. This is because if the preapproval has a stated amount and the offer is below that amount the seller will know the buyer can afford more. What is your opinion?
That’s interesting that Jeff says the online printout will not show names. I haven’t received a paper statement in the mail from a bank in almost ten years now, and the online printout always shows my name. That’s coming from Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, and Union Bank. However, they don’t show the full account number.
