So Sad Da Bears Did Not Make It To The Super Bowl :-(

Well, as I sit here this evening morning the loss that the Bears were handed by the Packers for the NFC Championship I ponder the lost opportunities that they had this evening. I have to admit that I am proud of my team and as I tell my friends "Being a Bears fan has it's perks like not having any expectations to have a winning season. Then when they win a game it is much sweeter because you did not expect them to win!" Now I must tell you that I was born into a family of Bears fans, there has never been another team for me! I moved to Kansas City when I was 22, and I have continued to root for them, even though there is a local pro team in the Chiefs. 

Along those lines I also ponder the lost opportunities of potential buyers who have been sitting the side lines of the real estate market. Many low interest rates have come and gone, first time home buyer tax credits have come and gone, prices have begun to go back up in many markets across the nation and the buyers market is beginning to wane as well as interest rates are heading to historic levels. 

Why am I brining this up in a football post? Well I just wonder, how many people on the side lines in the real estate market will end up being like myself and other Bears fans. Walking out of the real estate market (or stadium) with the heads hung low, disappointed about missed opportunities and comforting each other with talk of what could have been, what should have been just to make ourselves feel better.

Real estate has and always will be the number one best investment anyone can ever make, even much more so if you pick up a property in the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2011. Historic low prices, low interest rates, extended tax credit on interest paid not to mention the equity gain as home prices finish stabilizing and begin their march upward. 

Now is the forth quarter of the buyers market, of the historic low home prices, historic low interest rates. What are you going to do? Sit on the bench and sulk about the loss you are about to have? Or, rise to the occasion, pull your helmet on tight and drive to the end zone while having the best time of your life making the best investment of your life!
