Good Monday Morning. Life is good in Kentlands

This morning is the coldest morning of the winter in Maryland. Thankfully, it is not snowing. As we face the challenges of the new work week and plan our activities, we should also schedule an adequate amount of time for personal development and personal pleasure.

If getting more exercise was not on your list of resolutions for the new year, you must be in very good shape. For the rest of us a brisk walk through our communities on a daily basis will help keep us physically and mentally sharp. Always have your camera in hand to capture the changing colors of the season.

My favorite place for walks is the neo-traditional community of Kentlands in Gaithersburg, Maryland. I used my Canon PowerShot G11 camera for these photographs.

Thanks for your comments and support. Dolores and I visited the conservatory at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland on Sunday afternoon.  They opened their spring flower exhibit this weekend. It was good to enjoy the beautiful flowers in a warn environment on a very cold day. I will use some of the pictures in future posts.

I got out my camera this morning and was going to do some shooting. I got to the park and out of the car, went to shoot and my lens fogged up. At that point I decided to turn around and go home.
