Green Build Courses Offered In Connecticut.
William Janhonen, LEED AP has put together three incredible programs on sustainable building otherwise known as green building. They are offered at five locations:

These educational courses explain the difference between the various green build rating systems and more detailed analysis of the LEED programs offered by the United State Green Build Council, USGBC. The three courses offered are:

Understanding a Sustainable Home. (*New)
These courses are ideal for anyone who is interested in sustainable building and are a must for professionals in any building trade, real estate, or related industry profession.
Understanding Green Building Certifications explains the certification process of LEED by USGBC, NAHB Green Building Standards and Energy Star. The course will give you an overview of conventional building methods versus green building methods.
LEED Green Associate Core Concepts (aka LEED Green Associate Exam Preparation) is a five part series that explains the LEED rating system developed by the USGBC. This is an interactive series where participation is a must, identifying best practices, key terms and concepts, regulations, incentives and concepts in practice of "green building".
Understanding a Sustainable Homeis a new course offered in 2011 by Bill Janhonen. This course is designed to explain the elements that comprise a sustainable home. Green homes incorporate Green Habits and this course will explain the synergies and integration of an energy efficient home relating to Energy, Water, Indoor Air Quality, Building Location, Landscaping, Green Products, Materials and Resources.
