You Are Officially Invited to Join The Best Real Estate Social Network EVER!!! Now Will You Accept????

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 01845411

You have officially been invited to join Activerain from a fellow Real Estate Professional. If you are not familar what Activerain is, it is the biggest social network site for real estate professionals out there, it has the best content, excellent referral base, and offers better searchability that your own website has trouble compeiting with on the search engines, unless you pay for google clickads, that other real estate agents are clicking on purpose to get you to your maximum budget for the day and limit your exposure. (Yes they do that.)

So now you have a basic idea of what Activerain is now.. You recieve an invitation from another agent or professional to join the site:

 http://activerain.com/action/referrals/stacey_smith

(To those of you reading this blog and haven't received an invitation yet, click on the link above and consider yourself officially invited to the greatest real estate professional network around!)

So now you have recieved an invitation to this awesome networking site that gives you excellent internet exposure and great education, what would be the top reasons for not joining??????

  • You have to much internet exposure already.. I mean it's almost a burden on how easily people can find you on the internet.
  • Your phone is ringing off the hook and people busting the door down just wanting to buy a house from you that you are just to busy to get on the internet.
  • You already know everything there is to know about the real estate industry and have no insight to share with the world that a site like this would hold no benefit for you.
  • You decided to live the life of a barefooted hippie and all material things including cell phones, computers, deoderant hold no personal benefit to you.
  • Your mentally still in high school, and you think your better than me and if I am actively using something that you could benefit from, despite that fact, because someone so uncool such as myself is suggesting you use it for your benefit, it is so beneath you to follow the advice of a commoner.
  • You don't have hands and have not yet mastered the skill of typing with you nose.

If you are a real estate professional, you want to be found on the internet once people in your area start searching for homes, or you want to continue to educate yourself about our ever changing industry, THERE IS NO LEGITIMATE REASON WHY YOU SHOULD NOT JOIN THIS 200,000 MEMBER STRONG AND GROWING NETWORK OF REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS!!!

Stacy: This is a great idea....never thought of posting on AR an invitation to AR, but you're right - AR has the google juice that my personal site doesn't. Well done!!!

I love the reasons 'not' to join - lol!

Great post, Stacey!  Believe it or not, I once invited an agent to join AR and was stunned by the reply:  "I don't see the benefit."  *head scratch*

Just wanted to comment to Ed's comment above that I've gotten that response pretty universally.  I've invited quite a few agents and have only one that has accepted.  The major block is just digital overkill - too many things they think they should be doing and AR just seems like one step too many.  It's a shame really.

Now that is one funny list of reasons why someone might not already be signed up with AR.
