I just love photos on cards. I use the sendoutcardsystem mentioned on my other blogs. Our office has an agent that will do a watercolor of a property on a card for thank you's, just moved whatever. I know an artist that can put the image on glass, plexi and other transparent ways to inhance the realtor gift. There are so many ways to make a personal card for friends and clients. Let me know if I can hook you up with these artists or you as the photographer for cards.
there are photo books now everywhere. I made one on Costco.com and it is a total treasure for my family
The local drugstores with photo departments now carry the ability too.
What a long long way photos have come. I got the kodak vo7 digital camera with the 35mm lens because of active rain. I read a blog and it suggested I buy it on Amazon and I did for about 245 dollars. It was 350 at best buy. Now a lot of agents are using it,
Our local MLS now has a 24 hour requirement for photos to be on. Hooray for South Bay, Inglewood and Palos Verdes Association of Realtors. They are the three governing ones in our part of Los Angeles.
Later on I discovered the Nikon digital and since I wanted it so much I bought it for my husband.
I have used that for my photos on surfing. If you scroll down my blogs you'll see the Nikon for the close up photos. For the Meyer Lane listing I used the Kodak v07. They are both amazing.
Get those photos on the MLS
or else.
Lynne...you are so right. We are such a media-intensive society that photos are key. I think we will also see a movement towards videos on MLS, rather than photos or virtual tours. Do you think that's true?
