Now is NOT the time to panic.  It is, however, the time to look for opportunities in the market for our clients, investors and ourselves.  With the fed lowering by 50 basis points, the markets now have something to look forward to.  Think back several years ago during the late 80's and early 90's when the real estate market had a correction.  What did you tell yourself then?  You might be like me if you told yourself that the next time there is a correction, you're not going to miss the next opportunity.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the opportunity is here, right here, right now!  If you don't do what it takes to obtain properties for your own portfolio then you will miss another great buying opportunity for your family's financial future.  Let's Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Isas I wrote in one of my last blogs.  Act soon....if not today!!!

Hey David,

Interesting advise and most likely accurate.

I think it's funny that investors for rentals have slowed their buys because of the market, and I tell them all the time that this is the time to buy rentals because more and more people are currently renting instead of buying with the new subprime "stuff" going on.

Real estate is an investment, but not like a stock investment.  You buy real estate to use, provide shelter, and raise a family. Should you panic if your home value drops 20% or doesn't appreciate for a year or two?  I don't think so, it's still not providing you a shelter right.
