Building good relationships with clients is crucial in any business. This is especially true of REALTORS®. To do this, I use a multitude of ways to keep in contact with my past clients. For example, this year for Christmas, I purchased some beautiful house ornaments, baked my famous banana bread and hand delivered these to clients I have worked with this past year. I was able to complete this task in a day and connect with clients that I treasure so much.
Today I received the following thank you note from one of these clients:
Just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you again for being so thoughtful during Christmas. It was truly special to have you drop by with the darling house ornament and the banana bread (yum!) You have been more than a realtor to us and we appreciate that so much! We wish you the very best in 2011 and hope we can get together soon.

I will tell you, I was having a rather difficult day today. This was a subtle reminder to me that there are clients out there who truly appreciate my services. It is for this very reason that I do what I do.
