The Short Sale Association of America (SSAA) officially launched their new pre-notice of default (pre-NOD) lead map for real estate professionals looking for a more efficient way to contact distressed property homeowners. The new program allows users to find and order pre-NOD leads by zip code and number of days late on mortgage payments using an interactive heat map that has revolutionized the lead-buying process. Real estate professionals will discover a new and more efficient way to order leads and streamline marketing campaigns through SSAA. They have the flexibility of ordering pre-NOD leads by the number of days homeowners have been counted by the credit bureaus as late on their mortgage payments so that they are able to strategically select leads that will better suit their marketing pieces and local foreclosure timelines.

The new map can also be used as a valuable educational tool for real estate professionals seeking information on local default and foreclosure rates. The lead counts for each state, county, and zip code are displayed instantly and are live-streamed from the credit bureaus. The map is color-coded to illustrate high to low rates of default, with red areas indicating high rates and lighter shades of red indicating low rates of default.
